Maintaining an online portfolio only makes sense when it offers a way of getting feedback on how you’re performing as a medical professional. That’s why Medbook provides assessments.
Medbook lets you ask a supervisor for feedback directly. It’s important to keep in mind that you will need take take the initiative as a resident in all of this. This means that you’ll go over the assessment form together with your supervisor, and then fill it out yourself. Afterwards you can send the assessment to your supervisor to be validated.
After you complete your assessment, you’ll need to identify a supervisor to validate the assessment for you. Select a supervisor from the list and click the green button ‘submit’. The supervisor will then receive a notification, asking to process your assessment. He or she can add feedback, adjust the assessment where needed, and finally validate the assessment.
It’s also easy to invite a new supervisor based on their email address. Medbook will automatically send an invitation link that the supervisor can use to create an account, and then validate your assessment.
Another possibility is to fill out the assessment together. That way your supervisor can immediately validate your assessment using his or her digital signature.
